Rain
Life’s not fair. Okay, so you’ve heard before. So have I. Now I know what it means. It was raining the other day. I’m not a fan. Unless I’m drinking it, or splashing my paws in it, I don’t care much for water. I put up with the occasional bath, because I do like to be clean. Even then, though, at least the water is warm, and I get a massage. Rain, on the other hand, is cold.
As I’ve said before, I enjoy my morning walk. It’s good exercise for Hal, and I don’t go on the living room floor. Also, I enjoy the sunrise. When it rains, however, the living room floor starts to look pretty good. After all, I’m not cleaning it up. Then again, Hal would deserve it.
Think about it, Hal puts on a coat has a hood, he’s covered from head to toe. Me I’m nekkid as a jaybird. Well, I’m wearing a collar, but that’s it. What is a jaybird anyway? Maybe I can chase one. So, it’s chilly out, but I can handle it, I’m tough, I’m a pitbull. But now you add rain, and I’m not a happy camper. I’m wet and not gonna see the sunrise, and the wind makes it that much colder. Times like this I wish I bit.
